Ronald Eugene Elliott born on November 10, 1938 died unexpectedly at home on March 14, 2024.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Parker Funeral Home Chapel.
Ron Elliott was born in Englewood, CO to William and Nina Elliott. From the time he and his twin brother Don were five they spent very happy summers with their grandparents, Charlie and Anna Hitchcock. He graduated from Englewood High School. He was married to Mary Katherine Horton for twenty-nine years and was blessed with two beautiful girls. In 1986 he lost Mary and met his second wife Julie. They have been married for thirty-seven years.
Ron started his career as a gopher for Charlie James and ultimately became an artist at laying concrete. He worked on his own under the name Colorado Concrete Repair. He did work for a builder for twenty years and then went on his own again. He was in constant demand because of the caliber of his work. He wanted to be the oldest concrete guy in Elbert County and worked until he was seventy. Then he changed careers and worked for King Soopers for five years. Finally, he retired. Ron was a strong man of faith and an awesome guy!
Ron Elliott is preceded in death by his father William Elliott ,mother Nina Hemphill, Lester Hemphill grandparents, Charlie and Anna Hitchcock, brother Lester M. Hemphill and uncles Bobby Charles Hitchcock and William L. Hitchcock.
Ron Elliott is survived by his wife Julianne, daughters Tammy Graf and Ronda (Marlen) Mason, sister Carol (Paul) Chumley, brother Donald (Penny) Elliott, brother Gary Hemphill and Gary Getman, stepdaughter Debora Simmons and stepson David Simmons. five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
